About the Role

We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and detail oriented Summer Student to support our branch teams in the role of Member Service Representative (MSR) Summer Student. This position is ideal for a post secondary student interested in Business, Finance, or a related field who is looking to gain hands on experience in a professional, member focused environment.


The successful candidate will assist with daily branch operations, provide service to members, and support MSR workflows while learning about financial services and credit union operations.

This is a term position (May-August, flexible)

Key Responsibilities

•    Provide friendly, accurate, and professional service to members
•    Assist members with routine banking transactions
•    Promote Vision Credit Union products and services
•    Support branch operations and administrative tasks
•    Follow established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
•    Assist MSRs with daily workflows and member interactions
•    Perform general administrative duties as required

Qualifications & Skills

•    Currently enrolled in a post secondary program (Business, Finance, or related field preferred)
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•    Positive attitude and strong customer service focus
•    Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
•    Comfortable working with computers and basic office technology
•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•    Previous customer service or cash handling experience is an asset, but not required

Compensation:

•    Salary range $21.00 to $26.00/hourly.
