The Branch Manager shall direct and manage all branch activities in order to achieve specific goals and targets. Serve our members to the highest standards so that Vision Credit Union Ltd. can increase brand equity and reputation. This position oversees that the staff performs all operational functions while conveying a feeling of trust, security and satisfaction to members and staff.

Senior Loan Officer - Stettler
The Senior Loan Officer will be responsible for maintaining, supervising and recommending credit policies and procedures, including the investigation of new members, extending credit lines, granting credit and following up. Responsibilities will include providing leadership, providing consistently exceptional customer service, providing frontline credit application adjudication, and collections of accounts receivable.

Financial Advisor - VCU Financial - Camrose

The Financial Advisor will play a significant role in providing financial advice to clients, primarily focused on savings, investment, and retirement solutions while strengthening the overall presence of VCU Financial in the communities it serves. The Financial Advisor will work with an existing book of business as well as work with other VCU Financial staff members to identify and distribute referral opportunities. The Financial Advisor is expected to progress to the Investment and Life Specialist role.

Lending Support Officer - Camrose
The Lending Support Officer is responsible for systematically sampling the adequacy and accuracy of all loan documentation processed by branch staff. Other responsibilities will include the performance of related clerical duties, such as spreadsheet processing, maintaining filing and record systems. The Lending Support Officer will carry out these duties while maintaining a strict adherence to all appropriate legislative regulations, organization policies, and professional practices.

This is a full-time permanent position.

Credit Adjudicator
The Credit Adjudicator is a motivated, career-minded Credit Adjudicator responsible for evaluating and approving credit applications which exceed lender’s or branch limits. Additional responsibilities will include assistance in developing and implementation of credit policies and procedures as well as assisting our training department with lender focused training. Assist with special projects, and new business development tools and programs as required. Provide advice and direction to lenders and credit analyst regarding the analysis, structuring and negotiation of credit applications and related documentation.

Under executive direction, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Credit, the Credit Adjudicator will evaluate and approve credit applications within designated limits. Credit applications which exceed the credit adjudicator limits will be submitted to the Senor Vice President of Credit and/or Credit Committee. The position is responsible for ensuring that the approved applications meet acceptable risk requirements and provide a reasonable, risk‐based return on investment, in accordance with prudent lending practice, corporate lending policy, as well as regulatory and legislative requirements.

This is a full time permanent position.

Agricultural/Commercial Specialist - Manning
The Agricultural/Commercial Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the commercial financial portfolios of Vision Credit Union Ltd. The Agricultural/Commercial Specialist will be required to expand business portfolios by acquiring new agricultural and commercial members. While providing exceptional customer service, the incumbent must analyze members’ financial data and recommend products and services which suit members’ needs. Travel may be required as needed in this position.

Loan Officer - La Crete

The Position:

 

The Loan Officer/Loan Officer Trainee, under the direction of the Branch Manager/Assistant Branch Manager, will examine, evaluate, and process loan applications for all member requests. The Loan Officer/Loan Officer Trainee will work within organizational constraints to provide appropriate funding options to members. The incumbent in this position will maintain member loan accounts, organize and update information as necessary, and report appropriate information to the Branch Manager/Assistant Branch Manager. The Loan Officer/Loan Officer Trainee will carry out these duties while maintaining a strict adherence to all appropriate legislative regulations, credit union policies, and professional practices.
